Is There Any Free Live Streaming Apps That Allow Nudity
It's official:Fortnite'sTyler "Ninja" Blevins is done with gaming's live streaming service Twitch. He's moving on to Microsoft's Mixer, which has a dress code for teens and adults that feels more appropriate for high school than a live stream gaming website.
After Ninja's announcement, esports consultant Rod "Slasher" Breslau shared Mixer's clothing guidelines, which quickly went viral. The rules are a major blow to NSFW live streamers and women in gaming in general, as the requirements limit simple attire like strapless dresses and t-shirts that show cleavage.
A peek at the full rules shows streamers can never appear on the gaming live streaming site shirtless, nude, in a towel, with a bare breastbone, or with the camera focused "below the waist." Family-friendly and teen streams outright ban strapless clothing, while 18+ channels allow crop tops but insist players' chests "must be covered from the bust-line to the end of the rib cage." While strapless shirts and dresses are allowed in the 18+ section, there's one caveat: Streamers can only wear this clothing "if the top can be clearly seen on camera."
"I should apologize for my last Twitch stream, wherein I wore a tank top underneath a one-shoulder top, and thereby showed off one of my shoulders," Blizzard Watch live streamer Anna Bell tweeted. "Clearly the people calling me a MILF in Twitch chat were right all along. :("
Mixer's dress code is patronizing beyond belief. It micromanages women's bodies down to their ribs and stomachs and acts as if women are inherently sexual beings who need their bodies hidden away from viewers. This isn't a coincidence. While Mixer's rules are incredibly strict compared to its competitors, Twitch also requires creators to wear "appropriate public attire for a given context" and bans "sexually suggestive" clothing, including nudity. Games with sex as "a core focus or feature" are also prohibited.
If all of this sounds prudish and childish, well, that's because it is. When some of the biggest live streaming platforms out there shut out women and other marginalized genders who want to do what they choose with their bodies, it's discriminatory. It also turns away sex workers, adult content creators, and 18+ game developers, who are becoming more and more marginalized on the internet.
But there are adult live stream alternatives to Mixer and Twitch. Here are some of the best NSFW platforms for streaming adult video games, camming, and more.
- CamSoda
- LiveJasmin
- Cams.com
- ImLive
- Chaturbate
- MyCams
- iCams
- LivePrivates
- ManyVids
The best adult live streaming alternatives to Twitch and Mixer
1) Best NSFW streaming site for gamers: Plexstorm
The Switzerland-based website Plexstorm is a wish come true for every NSFW streamer out there who wants to play video games. The platform aims to become the "best adult social video game platform" around, and to that end, its Community Rules let streamers feature pornographic material, nudity, sex, and "adult services or adult behaviors." Sexual material is totally fine on the site as long as all parties are over 18 and can legally engage in the performances they're doing. This means NSFW performances, adult visual novel games, and game mods with nude characters are all allowed. Plexstorm also lets publishers and developers host their own streams, and users can share fanart, game development, cosplay, and any other projects "with the adult and game aspect" in mind.
Plexstorm's rules are pretty fair. Streamers can't show any form of sexual violence, including rape or child pornography, and the site bans content that encourages harassment on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and religion, among other grounds. Safe-for-work streams are allowed, and the site even lets users filter out adult material. Head on over to Plexstorm's Discord for more information.
2) Best 18+ game development live streaming site: Picarto.tv
Streaming isn't just for gamers. Developers, publishers, writers, and artists also use sites like Twitch to share their work during development. Illustrators in particular love Picarto, a streaming service that lets users show their creative process to fans. And if you're an 18+ game developer looking to stream your hard work, Picarto is a great pick.
Unlike Twitch, Picarto is a dedicated "creative livestreaming website" that allows NSFW content with anything from nudity to "intense sexuality." While the site bans "real pornographic content," such as photos or videos of people having sex, and streamers cannot depict "lascivious and NSFW-like persons or characters under the legal age of maturity," any 18+ creative material is otherwise allowed. Concept art, fanart, visual novel assets, and adult illustrations are all perfect for Picarto. Just remember to label your stream as "mature content."

3) Best cam model live streaming site: Nood.tv
We previously recommended Nood as one of the best "tube sites" for ethical porn. But Nood is also a great site for cam models who want to stream themselves suggestively (or not-so-suggestively) playing video games. Cam performers can appear with as much or as little clothes as they want on Nood, complete with vibes, dildos, masturbating, and more.
To stream adult content, you'll need to become a partner, which is open to any users who are not men. This means cis women, trans women, and femme-identified nonbinary folks are all welcome to partner with the streaming service and show adult content live. And like Plexstorm, Nood's community guidelines are pretty straightforward. The site bans "animal-like dildos," "non-intentional sex toys," and extreme sex acts like scat, incest play, and "the sexualization of underage characters." Otherwise, most sexual content is fair game.
As for streamers, Nood works a lot like your standard cam site. Users can purchase tokens to give out tips, and when a performer reaches enough tips, they'll perform a special predetermined act. This involves anything from taking off a pair of shorts to turning on a vibrator and masturbating. You can also use tokens to view previous streams recorded on the site, although this feature is still being phased in.
4) Best hosting site for NSFW creators: Kupaa Networks
Let's say you're a professional adult artist or developer with a dedicated following, and you want a site on which to embed your streams, host your portfolio, and direct your fans to your games. Instead of just streaming on Picarto or Plexstorm, consider setting up your own website with a NSFW-friendly hosting network: Kupaa Networks.
Kupaa Networks explicitly allows 18+ material "without restrictions." This means anything from NSFW streamers to adult game developers are allowed to share their content with the host. Kupaa also provides "optional add-on packages" and referrals to additional NSFW-friendly vendors, along with assisting creators with "the regulations and avoidance's with mature content and eCommerce." While somewhat expensive—a basic package will cost you $110 per month in exchange for 30 GBs of data—working with Kupaa is a solid choice if you're afraid of mainstream hosting sites knocking your site offline because of a NSFW gaming stream.
